Note

Using world healing stations or applying Bandages to another player will not remove this negative effect.

Tip

Use it discreetly on a ‘high-value’ target, like the Detective, and avoid dropping the weapon in crowded areas.

Caution

If you purchase the Poison Gun while your secondary weapon is the Desert Eagle, it will be forcibly dropped to make space for the Poison Gun. This can draw attention from other players, potentially giving them the green light to kill you without it being considered “Killing on suspicion.” This applies in unusual situations, such as dropping your secondary weapon “out of nowhere” while holding your primary weapon.
